We do not rush the growth of our teak through artificial means, our teak looks like more like the teak of Southeast Asia. That is why we call our teak slow growth.

Why is teak considered one of the best woods?
Teak is one of the most beautiful, high-quality woods used today. Teak's uses are numerous because of the color, resistance to rotting, and the relative ease it is to work with. Teak makes the perfect outdoor chair, table, deck, flooring, or countertop. Its uses and applications are endless. Many other hardwoods are often marketed as teak substitutes, but no other material performs to the same standards as genuine teak.
Why is my outdoor teak furniture turning gray?
Over time, teak furniture will attain a handsome silvery-gray finish. This process takes approximately nine months, depending on the amount of sunlight and rain exposure. During weathering, a slight lifting of the grain may occur and you may even see a few cracks. This is not considered a defect, but a natural expanding and contracting of the wood. The grain will return to its original smooth finish after the weathering process is complete
